Ultra runner Sanjaya Pandit dies in Alaska’s Denali

Sanjaya Pandit, a renowned mountaineer and ultra-runner, has died on Friday. Sanjaya Pandit died during an expedition of the Denali Mountain in Alaska, the highest mountain peak in North America.

According to the US-based journalist Sanjok Acharya, Pandit’s body has not been carried to the city from the snowy area due to bad weather.

Likewise, US-based Nepali newsportal, khasokhas.com, has also carried out a news citing Nepal’s Ambassador to US Dr Arjun Karki confirming the demise of Sanjaya Pandit. “The details are awaited,” the Ambassador is quoted as saying.

Likewise, CBS News has said that a climber has died on Denali at 17,500 ft around 1 am local time on Friday. Reports indicated a hiker had collapsed due to an unknown illness, it is reported.
